In light of the ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East, following extensive and careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the STTAF Conference to a date later in the year.

The evolving situation has created significant uncertainty, particularly with respect to travel, logistics, and regional stability. Our foremost priority is the health, safety, and wellbeing of all participants. Given the current circumstances, we believe that proceeding as planned would not provide the secure and focused environment necessary for productive academic exchange.

We are currently assessing alternative dates and will communicate further details as soon as they are confirmed.

Overview

The Sustainability, Technology, and the Transformation of Accounting and Finance Conference (STTAF) is a two-day international event organised by Bahrain Polytechnic in collaboration with the British Finance & Entrepreneurship Association (BFEA). The conference explores the evolving landscape of accounting and finance in the context of emerging technologies, sustainability challenges, and institutional change. It brings together cutting-edge research on topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Crypto assest, FinTech, financial decision-making, ESG reporting and sustainable investment, innovations in corporate governance, digital transformation in accounting practices, and the intersection of policy, ethics, and global financial systems.
